The event started 2 years ago with 2 shows a year in the Birmingham area and it has now grown to over 50 a year and covers a large part of England from Yorkshire/Greater Manchester in the North to London and Somerset in the South. They are established and very experienced in what they do. Normal Stand prices for Bradford are below, but special offers are available.
Start up: 1 metre width with 2 chairs, delegate list – £195 (max 4 per show)
Bronze: 2 metre width with 6ft table and 2 chairs. Delegate list – £395
Silver: 3 metre width with 6ft table and 2 chairs, delegate list – £595
Gold: 4 metre width with 6 ft. table and 2 chairs, delegate list – £795
The £195 and £395 stand prices are selling fast and the number of exhibitors is limited to 35.
They usually get over 200 delegates on the day and part of their job is to market the show such that this number is achieved.   More information is available at www.thebusinessgrowthshow.co.uk
If you would like to book an exhibition space, please contact Paul Bishop or call 07922 867342.

Trustees Wanted

Womenzone Community Centre (WCC) is a registered charity and has been operating in Bradford East since 2002. The charity sees over 1000 clients each year, managing various small projects.  Chill Zone is for young people aged 8 – 18 years, it is a safe place for young people after school with an emphasis on health, education and the environment. Babyzone is a project which works with pregnant and breastfeeding mums, supporting and encouraging breastfeeding and maternal health.  Older Women’s Welbeing group works on the mental and physical health of local women aged 50 +.
The organisation has been going through a period of redevelopment and has been fortunate to be recommissioned for its PCT contract and has received a Transition Fund grant. This development is set to continue and we are now seeking new trustees to join the board to bring new energy and impetus to a much needed organisation.
WZCC would like to hear from people with a variety of backgrounds and skills: mental health; management; voluntary and charitable sector; ICT and web design; copywriting and marketing and Youth work among others. Most of all we would like enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and commitment.
If you would like the opportunity to volunteer and help an established organisation in an exciting phase of development, please get in touch with the Centre Coordinators, Sadia Sajid or Rubina Khalid on 01274 665 270 or sadia_womenzone@hotmail.co.uk  or rubina_womenzone@hotmail.co.uk

55 Million Catalyst Endowments Programme is Open

The Catalyst Endowments programme has opened, offering match funding to cultural organisations to help develop their financial capacity.  This is the first strand of the new £100 million Catalyst private investment programme helping cultural organisations in the UK diversify their income stream and access private funding.  It is provided jointly by Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).  Grants of £500,000 to £5 million are available, which must be matched by new fundraising at different ratios dependent on the amount for which the applicant applies.  Priority will be given to non-profit organisations and applicants must be past or current recipients of HLF investment and ensure their constitution or other governing document enables the operation of an endowment fund that meets the outlined criteria.  Applicants must first register online by 16th December 2011.
