What is Social Entrepreneurship?

Statement of Faith
You can find other “Market with Meaning” but you definitely want to see “Profit with Purpose”.
I personally “Believe in Kingdom Transformation” because I know there is only ONE “Life for Significant”.

UnLtd India Update: May 2011

With a growing team and a soon-to-be-growing base of investees, these past three months have been exciting ones at UnLtd India.

Investee Spotlight: Ketan Deshpande, Students FUEL
Empowering rural students with academic opportunities

Ketan Desphande of Students FUEL

The problem: A lack of information about academic opportunities prevents students in rural India from launching their higher education. This limits social and economic mobility and fuels the rural/urban gap.

Ketan’s dream: All students should be able to pursue studies that lead them to the careers of their choice.

Students FUEL’s approach: FUEL bridges the information gap by producing and distributing career magazines, conducting trainings, organising fellowships and connecting students with financial aid networks.

Students FUEL’s reach and impact:

  • Academic guidance, career counseling, training and networking for over 2 lakh (200,000) students in rural India
  • Applications from areas where FUEL works to national exams are up by 48%; rejection levels are down to 28%

“UnLtd India has helped me take my organisation and myself to the next level. Through incubation support, we have been able to generate a plan for self-sustainability, expand to three states and strengthen our vision.”
