The SMART Programme

The SMART Programme is designed to support charities facing new challenges by helping them to become more enterprise focused, generate income independently, and adapt to the new ways for working required to a commissioning and contracting environment.

Middle East Coaching and Consultancy 

Penny Daly, Director of Red Ochre has just spent 10 days in the UAE working with a UK Government Agency on Leadership and Change Management. This involved a review of the Agency, a workshop and individual coaching sessions. She’s going back again at the end of the month to further support the Agency embed the changes within the organisation.

Interest in Commissioning and Procurement

Since the Christmas break Red Ochre have been approached by a number of local authorities and third sector organisations asking for help and advice around commissioning, procurement and tendering. To illustrate the demand Robert has run three full day training sessions on these topics:

Surviving the Cuts – 8th February 2011

This one day conference that is taking place today will be looking at the impact of the spending review and how to protect your service against the cuts. Small Charities Regional: Link up and learn Conference

Small Charities Coalition are running a conference called ‘Link up and Learn’. It’s for charities to link up with their fellow small charities and gain new contacts for better access to advice and support in the future. They can learn from the workshop leaders and one another and get practical knowledge and understanding. Uday Thakkar is running a seminar called ‘No Plan B’.
